Rasha Nahas
Rasha Nahas is a genre-defying Palestinian singer, composer, actress, and multi-instrumentalist.
Rooted in classical guitar and Haifa’s underground scene, Nahas' music fuses electric rock with folk, poetry, and trans-traditional influences. Her 2021 debut album, Desert, traced her migration to Berlin, while 2023's Amrat (recorded in the occupied Golan Heights) bridged urban life and rural memory. Nahas received the Bertha Artivism Award in 2022, has performed at Glastonbury and WOMEX, and appeared in We Are Lady Parts in 2024.
