Jaeho Hwang

HWXXNG (aka Jaeho Hwang) is a Berlin-based DJ and producer from South Korea whose practice explores sound as a site of cultural memory, identity, and futurism. Defining his work as Asian-Core / K-Core, he merges industrial club music with traditional Korean instrumentation, ritual chants, and East Asian sonic archives. Beyond the club context, he also works as part of the audio-visual art duo Oriental Melon, developing immersive performances and installations. A Chinabot artist and co-founder of Seoul’s Fragmented Service, HWXXNG actively connects experimental music and contemporary art across global underground scenes.
