vixnde
vixnde (pronounced viande, meaning ‘meat’ in French) is the artistic identity of Brussels-born singer and songwriter, Viana Afoumou.
Through a playful, layered exploration of sound, silence and voice, she presents her own genre: Raw Pop. vixnde describes her musical journey as one primarily shaped by live music, starting with her membership of a gospel choir in Belgium. It was only with time, having already performed often as a soloist, that vixnde began recording her music.
