New Year, New Grantees!

In the autumn of 2025 we announced our fourth open call, with ten Impact Grants of €50,000 and ten Artists Grants of €10,000 on offer.
While every open call’s a big deal for us, we were especially thrilled to be broadening our criteria this time round, allowing more artists and nonprofits to apply from more places. Our newly re-structured Artist Grants were open to non-students for the first time, and we added Belgium, Greece, Ireland and Portugal to our eligible countries list.
We set our independent selection committee the challenge of reviewing hundreds of applications, and narrowing the field to just 20…
Holly Fraser, the editor-in-chief of WePresent, sat on the Artist Grant selection committee and had this to say about 2025’s successful applications:
"[The] applications were thoughtful, insightful and honest, with the artists this year placing a real focus on both connecting with, and championing, their identity and heritage as a means to empower their communities. The work being explored and created by this cohort will be instrumental in fostering dialogue, tackling difficult subject matters and addressing systemic issues that impact both the creative industry and society at large. These grantees prove how impactful art can be as a tool for progress."
From inclusive dance troupes and free music schools, to rappers, poets, painters and producers, we’re proud to introduce our newest cohort of grantees:

Our grant programs
Ten grants of €50,000 are available to arts-focused nonprofits that are already actively supporting emerging artists from underrepresented groups. The grant is given over a two year period, allowing nonprofits’ leadership time for thoughtful and coherent evaluation of organizational improvements and programming.
“For small groups like ours, longer-term funding is crucial. It’s rare to have an opportunity like this. This gives us the context to step back, breathe and develop a strategy for change making – to ask how we can truly embody our values.” - York Anti Racist Collective, 2023 grantee
Ten grants of €10,000 are allocated to emerging artists from underrepresented groups whose practices involve some form of collaborative, collective, or creative processes that incorporates or benefits their community.
The grant is designed to improve living conditions for artists and to enable them to dedicate more time to developing their practices and increasing the visibility of their work.
“Being able to breathe with the security of a monthly support base has given me the freedom to explore new possibilities in my work, and led me to discover my creative self from a different angle.” - Daniela Tovar Rodriguez, 2023 grantee
An independent selection committee, brimming with experience
All of our grants are distributed based on the decisions of fully independent, expert selection committees united by an intimate understanding of the challenges emerging artists face today. As ever, in assembling our 2025 Open Call committees, we drew on a breadth of experience spanning a wide array of disciplines, and included in a number of our own former grantees.
