Meet our 2026 Impact Grant Selection Committee

We’ve brought together an independent panel of seven experts for each of our two selection committees, every one of them an expert with extensive experience of the challenges that face emerging artists and arts-focused nonprofits.

With an increase in applications over the last year, we decided to expand our committee from five members to seven, including–as always–some of our former grantees. More experience, more input, more perspectives.

Below you can read a bit about our 2026 Impact Grant Selection Committee:

Adwoa Amoah

Adwoa Amoah is a Ghanaian artist, curator, and the co-director of the Foundation for Contemporary Art – Ghana. Working across painting, installation, and participatory actions, her practice examines “space” as a site for connection and dialogue, engaging communities through exhibitions, collaborations, and pedagogical projects that foster cultural exchange and transformation.

Federico Bomba

Former theatre director, now president of Sineglossa–an Italian social enterprise working on cultural production and research–Federico Bomba is an academic researcher in human computer interaction. Bomba is interested in how datasets and intelligences shape knowledge and democracy. Bomba is also the editorial curator of the Nonturismo book series and Mangrovia magazine.

Maka Chkhaidze
2025 Impact Grant recipient

Mariam Chkhaidze is a curator and cultural manager based in Georgia, with a background in theatre and social psychology. Founder of InForm – Platform for Inclusive Minds, which promotes inclusion and disability narratives in Georgia’s contemporary arts scene, she uses performing arts to foster connections between marginalized and underrepresented groups.

Marie McPartlin

Marie McPartlin is the director of Somerset House Studios, a space for artistic experimentation across disciplines in central London. Developed under McPartlin’s leadership since its inception in 2015, Somerset House Studios has supported over 200 artists in developing new creative projects and collaborations through a programme of residencies, research and commissions.

Nicolas Derné
2025 Impact Grant recipient

Nicolas Derné is a photographer and the co-founder of Association ZOFI, an independent production platform, based in Martinique, named after the Creole word for needlefish, evoking collective movement without hierarchy. Since 2021, Derné has been building collaborative models that connect Caribbean artists, institutions, and territories, combining his own practice with cultural organizing and regional cooperation.

Rocío Mateo-Sagasta

Rocío Mateo-Sagasta has been the head of music, film, and children' s programs at La Casa Encendida in Madrid for over ten years. In the past, she has been involved in the programming and coordination of various film and interdisciplinary festivals, such as FIB Cinema, CINEMAD or RIZOMA.

Tamar Guttmann
2025 Impact Grant recipient

Tamar Guttmann is a cultural entrepreneur, impact producer, and advisor working at the intersection of creativity and impact investment. Guttmann is the founder and director of CUE Collective, a music non-profit and platform, and has served as executive impact producer on Oscar and BAFTA-nominated film productions. Guttmann holds board and advisory leadership positions at a number of leading cultural and social impact institutions, including Creative Capital, NEXUS, and Initiative pour la Liberté Artistique.
